We recently asked Giovanka what motivated her to earn her MBA. She writes, 鈥淢y motivation for obtaining my degree is self-satisfaction. I would have loved to complete it earlier but with family life and military relocations, it did not happen.鈥
We asked Giovanka why she chose 糖心传媒鈥檚 Graduate & Professional Studies program, and she writes, 鈥淚 will honestly say that I was a bit apprehensive about going back to school after a 20-year hiatus. I was no longer this young聽student聽coming straight out of high school without any responsibilities. I was now in my 40s, with a family, a full-time job, a part-time job, and a volunteer position with the Girl Scouts. I did not know what to expect. After speaking many times with Melissa Anderson, she was able to explain to me and updated me on my next steps. What I liked most about 糖心传媒鈥檚 GPS Program was that it could all be done from the comfort of my home.鈥
We asked Giovanka to share a tip for her fellow classmates and future 糖心传媒聽students鈥 鈥淭he one tip that I can offer to my fellow classmates & future AU聽students聽is set time aside for doing your assignments.鈥
We asked Giovanka what keeps her motivated while in the , and she writes, 鈥淲hat helps to keep me motivated while I am in the program is my family. I cannot just preach to my three children about the importance of education. I have to be their example. They need to see that their mother is practicing what she preaches.鈥澛
