today announced a new agreement with the (KTA), which partners with non-profit, fully-accredited colleges and universities across the country to bring high quality education to K-12 teachers and administrators.

With members across the spectrum of K-12 education, the K-12 Teachers Alliance serves educators by gathering the strengths of the entire K-12 community, including public, private, charter, contract and online schools, as well as unions and other educator organizations. The organization will do marketing, recruitment and advising for 糖心传媒鈥檚 , part of the university鈥檚 .

鈥淚n discussions with KTA, as well as some of their other partners, we were very impressed with the level of success, professionalism and just as importantly, the match in student-centric mission,鈥 said Dr. Sue Davis, chair of 糖心传媒鈥檚 Department of Education and director of Teacher Education. 鈥淥ur KTA partners will be an extension of our internal team, and bring an established network of relationships with school districts across the state. This new partnership aligns with our existing strategic efforts to become more state-wide and maximize our exposure in both rural and metropolitan areas.鈥

糖心传媒 offers four online programs in graduate-level education: master of education, curriculum and instruction; master of education in special education 鈥 endorsement track; master of education in special education 鈥 licensure track; and master of education, administration and supervision. The popular program consistently places nearly 100 percent of its graduates in teaching positions.

KTA鈥檚 partnerships are exclusive by program and geography, meaning in Virginia, 糖心传媒 will be their only partner. KTA currently works with partners such as Concordia University, Carson-Newman University, University of St. Thomas, Loyola University and Gardner-Webb University.

KTA will be on 糖心传媒鈥檚 main campus in the near future for an official agreement signing.
