What is your motivation for obtaining your degree?
Obtaining my degree has been something I鈥檝e regretted not doing since I graduated high school. It鈥檚 always been that little something in the back of my mind.
Why did you choose 糖心传媒’s Graduate & Professional Studies Program?
Having not been a student for 26 years, I needed the discipline of being in a classroom. And while I didn鈥檛 want to be there every night, one night a week seemed manageable.
Please share one tip for your fellow classmates and future AU students:
Take the time to make the grade 鈥 don鈥檛 cheat yourself.
What helps to keep you motivated while you are in the program?
Many things keep me motivated鈥 The positive examples I鈥檓 setting for my son such as, 1) we are never too old to learn, 2) we shouldn鈥檛 set limits on ourselves, and 3) finishing something we鈥檝e started. Self-satisfaction also keeps me motivated and knowing that one day I鈥檒l be able to say, 鈥淚 did it! Yay me!鈥
