What is your motivation for obtaining your degree?
I am currently employed at United Healthcare. I love my job and having opportunities to grow. I am pursuing a degree in Business Administration to give me the boost I need to continue to learn, grow, and move into new roles within the company.
Why did you choose ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½’s Graduate & Professional Studies Program? ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý
I quickly found that it is very difficult to juggle working full time and trying to earn a degree. I have tried going to school while working full time with other schools, but it just wasn’t feasible for me. The GPS Program at ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ makes it manageable for students to work and handle their school workload. I also love that the classes are only 5 weeks long and it puts you on a fast track to earn a degree. The GPS Program really is a perfect fit for me.

Please share one tip for your fellow classmates and future AU students.
Don’t procrastinate! I have always been a procrastinator, but with each class being 5 weeks, I’ve learned I really can’t wait until the last minute to do assignments. I like to look at the week’s workload at the beginning of the week and make a plan to make sure I have time to complete all of my tasks.
What helps to keep you motivated while you are in the program?
Graduation! I love getting my grades in a timely manner and really knowing where I stand in the class. Graduation seems closer than ever and I am looking forward to having that degree and moving up within my company.
