My name is Chantel Christian and I’m 23 years old. I’m currently working at SOVAH Health but my career goal would be to become a Special Events Coordinator and own my very own Event Company. My hobbies would include reading with my 5 year old son and watching 90’s sitcoms.
What is your motivation for obtaining your degree here at ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½? ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý
My motivation for obtaining my degree would have to be my son. I want to provide a better life for my family.
Why did you choose ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€™s Graduate & Professional Studies program?
I chose ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€™s Graduate and Professional Studies Program because it fits my needs. After talking to Jonathan Nichels, admissions counselor, he helped me realize the benefits of me attending ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ versus any other institution with an online degree program. I’m a single mom and I work full-time, so being able to take all of my classes online has been tremendously convenient.

What advice would you share for current and incoming students in ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€™s GPS program?
Advice that I would share for ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€™s GPS program would be to stay motivated, study hard, and set goals. Having taken online classes at a previous institution, I know firsthand that taking classes online can be a little intimidating. Success in this program is not giving up or getting discouraged when it starts to get challenging. Remember why you started to begin with and persevere. You’ve got this!!
What keeps you motivated while in your degree program?
What keeps me motivated in this program are my life goals. With each class, I’m learning more than I ever imagined and am one step closer to my dream career.
