Denise Lindsey. I work in supply chain as an Inventory Task Force Specialist at GKN driveline in Roxboro, North Carolina. I have been there almost a year. I am married and I have three daughters and a grandson. I enjoy cooking, listening to music, and reading.
What is your motivation for obtaining your degree here at ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½? ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý
My motivation for obtaining my degree at ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ is to expand my career in Supply Chain and to obtain better career opportunities. Also, make a better life for my family but most of all do it for myself because this is what I want to do.
Why did you choose ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€™s Graduate & Professional Studies program?
I chose ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€™s Graduate & Professional Studies Program for several reasons.
The first reason is I can still work and earn a living, but also go to school at the same time. I can take classes online or have face to face classes. Also, when I went online to see what was offered and signed up for some information about the program, I received a telephone call. The call was very pleasant and informative.
How has your degree from ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ assisted you in your career?
Earning a degree from ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ will give me opportunities to move up within the company or be able to earn a better job in supply chain.

What advice would you share for current and incoming students in ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€™s GPS program?
To be honest, I am still new at this. However, I can say since starting in September of 2017, it has been a positive experience. The professors that I have had always answer any questions I may have. My admissions counselor is the best. My advice that I would give is just ask questions if you not sure about something and keep a positive attitude.
What keeps you motivated while in your degree program?
I am doing this for myself, my family, and my career.
