Hello, my name is Elsie Logan. I am a single parent with a seventeen year old son. I’m employed at a prison as a correctional officer. I have received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and I decided to return back to school to receive my Bachelor in Sociology/ Criminal Justice. My desires are to be a counselor.
What is your motivation for obtaining your degree here at ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½?
I am hoping to become a counselor.

I have heard great things from current students, ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ offers great opportunities, and I am closer to home.
How has your degree from ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ assisted you in your career?
I currently work in a prison, and I can achieve my goals in my place of employment and apply for several other jobs.
What advice would you share for current and incoming students in ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€™s GPS Program?
ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ is always there for their students. The teachers will work with you as long as you communicate and let them know what is going on.
What keeps you motivated while in your degree program?
Receiving a job in my field.
What is your anticipated date of graduation?
My goal is to graduate in 2020.
