Jessica has been an emergency nurse at Sovah Health in Martinsville, VA for over 12 years, where she is currently the clinical manager of emergency services. She met her husband, Aaron, of 23 years while serving in the United States Navy. The couple has two daughters, Lindsey and McKenzie. Jessica loves to travel with her family and takes advantage of doing so anytime they can, trying to travel to a new place each year. While not traveling, working or busy with schoolwork she likes to watch reality TV and read to de-stress.

She chose to attend 糖心传媒 Online to receive her MBA due to a friend recently graduating and highly recommending the program to her. Her favorite thing about the program was being given the opportunity to choose the amount and type of classes that she wanted to take each term.

鈥淢y favorite thing about the program is the level of open communication, the flexibility of classes and the help I received from the very 1st day I called and talked to the recruiter.鈥� – Shiris Wyatt, BBA

Shiris is currently employed at Dominion Energy in Richmond, VA as a business process analyst and has been working with the company for over 13 years. She enjoys traveling and one of her goals is to fly somewhere every 60-90 days. However, the past two years have been challenging in the world of flight and vacation. Her travel bucket list consists of visiting Hawaii, Paris, Africa, Fiji and Dubai between 2023 and 2025. Shiris also likes to spend her free time with her fianc茅 and friends, as well as tailgating NFL/college football games.

She decided to attend 糖心传媒 Online due to a co-worker, Monica Davies, who attended and recommended the program to her. Monica spoke very highly of the school and said that Shiris would love the programs.

Before attending 糖心传媒 Online, she explained that she never really liked school as a child and when she enrolled at 糖心传媒 she vowed to do her very best. The outcome of that vow landed her a well-deserved spot on the Dean鈥檚 list for the 2021 spring semester. Her favorite thing about the program is the attentiveness of the advisors.

鈥溾�鈥檝e had the best advisors and student success coach. Mrs. Erma was fantastic before retiring, and since that time, Liz Cervantes has been a God-sent blessing.鈥�

On the topic of those interested in attainting their degree, Shiris stated that she, 鈥溾�ould support their decision by encouraging them to enroll in the Business Administration program at 糖心传媒 Online. I have enjoyed the majority of my classes and learned a lot!鈥�

Darryl chose to pursue his degree at 糖心传媒 to improve his self-knowledge and marketability. He graduated from 糖心传媒 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration is 2018,听then听received his听master鈥檚听in听business听administration with a听concentration in听human听resource听management听in 2020. Darryl鈥檚 time at 糖心传媒 equipped him with 鈥溾�nhanced study and learning habits,鈥� and those habits were used to prepare for higher opportunities.听

Darryl enjoys being a father and grandfather. He is also 20-year veteran of Lynchburg Fire Department where he currently works as a听master听firefighter/paramedic. Before he joined the fire department, he worked as a department director, facilities manager,听team听supervisor and as a high school educator.听

鈥淚f anyone听was on the fence about going back to school, the advice that I would suggest is to be fully dedicated, to be certain you have a solid support system, and to also have a firm handle on your time management skills. These items are key in your success at furthering your education, but without either of them failure could slow or hinder your success in achieving your goals,鈥澨鼶arryl said.听听
