My name is Rosemary Parsells. I am an accountant, a graduate of ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€™ s MBA program, and a current Adjunct Professor teaching accounting and business courses in our GPS program. I worked for ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ for 6 years as a Director of Corporate Relations, recruiting students in Charlottesville, Quantico/Northern Virginia and Winchester for our GPS program. I loved being able to recruit a student, teach them in my classroom, and then watch them graduate in Danville; many of them with honors! I understand the challenges faced by all our students, as I have been in the same seat at one point or another in my own educational path. I was a traditional student right out of high school but didn’t finish at that time. Later, I was attending college-first part time, then full time while juggling full time work and being a single parent. I took so long to finish, I did not receive my BA until I was 49. I later received my MBA and my accounting concentration at age 62. I have been teaching ever since. I tutor, because I know first-hand how hard it can be without help!
